Korea has undergone family break-ups due to rapid industrialization and urbanization since mid 20th century. Nowadays, nuclear families are much more common in this nation, and most people suffer from lack of communication between family members. There Is/There Is Not: Rewriting Family Stories' is an interdisciplinary collaborative class project between Yonsei University's Department of Sociology, Haja Center (An alternative secondary educational institute), and Hongik University's Department of Visual Communication Design, coping with this social problem. The output was published by a sponsor company.
