Narayama Bushiko is a Japanese film directed by Shohei Imamura in 1983. It was exceptionally difficult to design this film poster, almost as difficult as watching it. The director’s profound view of the relation between nature and human revealed in the film was a key point that I intended to embody through a piece of paper using understated color and composition.
