Today, an excessively urbanized, huge city absorbs population and economic infrastructures of other satellite cities, and negatively affects economic independence on the small cities around the big city. It also threatens the suburban areas to be self-motivated. Junan Media Festival is an annual local event which was founded to revive regional economy and culture in Juan, one of the satellite districts of Seoul, capital of Korea.
