'I am juxtaposition'
-
'I am juxtaposition', is an experimental endeavor which shares different experiences of two designers, employing intellectual thoughts and plunging into simplistic insights of the visceral intuition. In this project, both the involved designers will generate visual responses to extracts from theories, broken into parts and combined with an absence of order by the 'non-linear adding machine' in order to explore borders between meanings, expanding relations between texts and images.
Burrough once said that he was not the writer but a transcriber of what was already written; since no words belonged to any writer, just like colours did not belong to painters. This piece of work explores new ways of design thinking and working by responding spontaneously to static knowledege and bureaucratic ideology.
Seen in the light of a series of works during the ten days of work in progress, this project will allow them to be organisers, transcribers, interpreters, creators as well as spectators, all at the same time helping them encounter things as 'they emerge'.
